STURDY storage just what I was looking for!

I am so glad I bought this shelf storage for my desk! I seriously spent hours browsing on amazon at the hundreds of different options they have for this sort of thing and ended up finding this great deal and couldn’t be happier with the one I ended up going for. I make jewelry so I have lots of storage containers filled with glass beads which make them incredibly heavy so I was very worried that it would not be able to hold the amount of weight I needed it to. After reading tons of reviews on different products, I went ahead with this one in hopes it would work and my expectations were exceeded. It provides me with the sturdy & heavy duty storage I needed, clears up lots of desk space for me, and makes it a LOT easier to make my jewelry having it so organized and visible! The extra slots were perfect for any papers or folders I had and it was a great buy (one of the best purchases/decisions that I have made in a long time to help my jewelry company!) I attached pictures so you could see that there is no bowing or bending of the metal since it is mesh which I was worried about because of the heavy weight I was putting in it and a lot of the mesh material organizers are very flimsy and unsturdy but it is been holding up very well and I can’t wait to order another one!

Neat!

My desk may not be cleaner, but it certainly is neater thanks to the mix of vertical (file folders) and horizontal (the two shelves below) organizing space of the Safco desk top organizer. I loved that it came ready for use right out of the box – no assembly required. I put it to use immediately, and it’s been an organizational game changer for me. The sides and first shelf are a sturdy black mesh construction giving the large unit a lighter look. And while the base is solid - as is the bottom under the six vertical mesh dividers - the entire piece is not heavy. The space between the dividers is a whopping 2” – I have almost 25 folders crammed into those six slots for quick daily retrieval and use. Of note, I bought this after reading an Amazon review about it on another product I was looking to buy which did require assembly. That reviewer saved me. Hope my review is as worthwhile to you, too. A great product, and a great buy.

Very good and sturdy organizer

Very sturdy. I use it primarily to hold textbooks and it doesn't seem to have any problem with the weight. I love the upright storage method. I used to have horizontal stacking organizers, and this method is much easier to use and makes it much easier to see and get what you have. Mine arrived bent, badly enough I was worried it was ruined and I'd have to send it back, but the bent arm/side bend back into place easily and not it works fine and looks like it was never bent at all. Looks nice, its very efficient, and I'm very glad I bought it.

Sturdy and Good Design, but too Pricey

I really like the variety of having two shelves that are "laying down" on the bottom of the unit, and having six vertical spacers on top. My desk has been cleaner now than it has in a long time, and I'm able to organize things much easier. With the amount of shelves, there are many options for using them...bills, income mail, etc. I also like the black color since I don't think it sticks out as much as if it was another color. In fact, in blends in well with the surroundings (they do say "black goes with everything," right?). I spent quite a bit of time researching various desk organizers and this one seemed to me to be the most efficient use of space. The reason I deducted a star is because of the price, which, at the time I purchased, was $36.65. In my opinion, that amount of money for something that is made out of mesh-style metal is excessive. If I saw this item in a store, I wouldn't expect to pay more than $20 or $25 tops for it. Nonetheless, given the great design of the product, I'm happy overall.

Well worth the price!

I saw this item in the Gold Box deal section. I looked at it just wondering why it costed almost $40. I was surprised to hear that the top slots were 2" wide. This is a very good-sized unit. I added it to my cart, and also after checking its dimensions, I also picked up from Amazon a Whitmor 6054-585 Supreme Wide Stacking Shelf, Chrome (note: the one measuring 14"x15"x15", not the wide one). The Whitmor shelf fits *perfectly* over the Safco organizer. Between these two products, I have organized my workspace tremendously. As far as the Safco itself, I find the build quality to be above average, definitely exceeding expectations. It's much sturdier than similar fare I've seen in office supply stores. This product was well worth the cost, and turned me on to Safco. I will definitely consider their other products based on the quality of this organizer.

Perfect for what I needed at my dorm

Perfect for what I needed at my dorm! It gave me a way to organize my books, binders, and papers. My paper and textbooks no longer became bent as they had from just standing them up. The shelves are very sturdy and have yet to bend after using them for 4 months. My only complaint was that the two vertical shelves at each end were slightly bent (shown in the pictures I have attached). It doesn't hinder me from putting any of my textbooks in them, so it was fine for me. The size of it was exactly as described in the description, however, I did see some complaints about it being too big in the comments. I've attached some pictures with a 12 inch ruler to help with that. Additionally, the horizontal and vertical shelves are all approximately 2 inches wide.

Orden en un espacio reducido
