Excellent for smaller hands
Got this for a Christmas gift for grandchild age 2. It is played with daily. I would recommend
Small, flimsy, difficult. But helpful.
It’s much smaller and flimsier than the ones when we parents were kids. You have to pull down hard and long even for an adult for it to work or else it’ll just spin with no sound at all. The images of the animals are small and not as clear as they could be. I was surprised for such a classic toy. That said, I use it as a helpful speech therapy tool with my child. For example, I manually move the arrow, point to the picture of a pig, and say “piggy oink oink,” etc.
Wow so much to do
My 9 month old loves this and will grow into it. We have to turn the dial but he loves it and dances to the songs.
Educational
This is even better that I remember them when my boys were little, this one has a flip feature that goes from farm to wild animals! I LOVE this so I got two, one for my granddaughter and one for my grandson!

Surprisingly lame
I remember when my daughter (who is now 40) had this classic toy. And I think it worked better and had clearer sound than this model. Usually, Fisher Price produces excellent products. I'm not impressed.

My boy loves it
I ordered one of these for my one year-old as I had one when I was a kid and my mom says I loved it. This one is a little different than the one I had, it’s a little bit smaller and it has two separate layers of animals. This one has little guessing games and plays songs as well as naming the animals and making the animals noises. I like that it has a handle. It’s very easy to use and my son loves playing with it and learning the animals.
